While driving yesterday I saw a banana peel in the road and instinctively swerved to avoid it...thanks Mario Kart.

Keep in mind with what i said earlier. The wording is done in such that I believe was disrespectful to the women at purdue. He could have picked a much more respectful and intelligent way to ask his question.

I've seen a good number of pretty girls ... and by pretty girls I mean the pretty ones who don't hang around smoking because I think that is the most unattractive thing ever for a girl.

It doesn't look to me that you took it in a disrespectful way. It seems to me that you read what he typed, made an incorrect assumption, and took offense to what you assumed was true (the assumption being that he's picking a school based on girls looks). From my point of view, it's not the way he worded it that's wrong. It's that you made an incorrect assumption that you took offense to.

I looked are some previous posts in this thread and upon looking I realized that I assumed a little too hastily. I dont know why I stated that rockon9846 was basing his decision on how women at purdue look. But I know when to admit defeat.

Says who?

By volume of smoke, sure... but looking at smoke content, it is primarily water vapor and glycerin. The nasty stuff gets filtered out by the water.

Case in point: take a drag off a cig, then blow through a piece of tissue paper. Turns brown. Take said drag off of hookah and repeat... yeah, no color change.

I don't know anything about either, but I just wanted to point out that that isn't very scientific. I don't think that it necessarily follows that harmful inhalants make colors on tissue paper. :eng101:

Looking at it from a particulate and heavy hydrocarbon (tar) standpoint... it sure does!

if only there was something that you could cook into food and ingest (instead of smoke) for its sweet buzz...

Actually, the part that really makes me THINK it's better is the fact that the tobacco isn't burned. The combustion process is the primary source of heavy hydrocarbon production. Instead you just vaporize the volatile compounds like glycerine, nicotine, and flavoring.
